Which Naruto Shippuden episodes Can I skip?
For Naruto Part 1, watch up to episode 135, then episode 220(last half of it, the first part is half filler).
Ideally watch some episodes in between.
The dont need to watch episodes aren’t necessary but recommended as they can explain small character dynamics..
Is Itachi’s story canon?
It is canon, but being used as a filler before the main storyline continues. The Itachi Shinden is based on Itachi Hiden, one of the Light Novels that came out last year, and I believe all of those are considered canon. They don’t have the concept of fillers in Japan, they are all considered ‘stories’ more or less.
Is Naruto filler worth watching?
In my humble opinion, there are few fillers worth watching. Kakashi’s Face: Gotta See, Gotta Know (Episode 101): This one is worth watching because it’s a lot of fun; hands down my 2nd favourite Naruto filler. Land of Rice Fields Investigation Mission Arc (Episodes 136–141): Not a bad arc, fairly entertaining.
Why does Kakashi wear a mask?
According to the series, Kakashi kept a mask over his face because he didn’t want anyone to catch him with a nosebleed. Anime fans will know that a nosebleed isn’t indicative of an injury or illness. Instead, it’s meant to denote adult thoughts in a character.

No, skip them. For both series. No, do NOT watch “Naruto Shippūden” before watching “Naruto”. You will miss out on a lot and won’t understand what is going on, and you will also not get to see some characters that died during the “Naruto” anime.

Just found a chart of what are the fillers and it seems seasons 6 -9 are indeed fillers except 3 episodes.
Can you skip Itachi’s story?
If you want to know Itachi’s true background in detail and the major functions of the Leaf (and those within), surrounding him and his life, don’t skip it, because, despite slight deviations from canon, here and there, you will more than likely enjoy it and find it informative.
Is it worth it to watch Naruto?
Naruto is worth watching the non fillers. First 100 episodes of the original series was an awesome experience and most of Shippuden was amazing.
Is Naruto Shippuden better than Naruto?
Depends , some people say Og Naruto is better , some people say shippuden is better . In terms of which is better, that’s more subjective (I personally prefer Shippuden), however in terms of content, Shippuden is more action packed than OG. … OG Naruto had little to no filler during the canon story line.
